They may look like wood, but these models are actually insulated, virtually maintenance-free steel sandwich doors. The front and back skins are both made with a pre-finished, wood grain embossed steel and the cores are filled with CFC-free polyurethane, so you don’t have to compromise aesthetics or durability. Smooth operation and slick design are the 2290's signature features. Its classic design is further accented by a thick coat of baked-on enamel in three designer colors - White, Almond, and Sandstone.

The model 2294 has a Long Recessed Panel and the model 2298 has a Short Recessed Panel. Both are insulated and have an R-value of 9.60.
