The model 3280 is loaded with exceptional features. Two 100 watt light bulbs and a delay setting control of 1 1/2 minutes to 4 1/2 minutes allow for 33% more light and better control. Also, advanced electronics now allow you to open and close your garage door from greater distances.
In addition to outstanding features, all LiftMaster operators have numerous safety features to give you peace-of-mind. The Protector System projects an invisible light beam across the inside of the garage door opening by way of two photo eyes at the base of the door. If anything interrupts the beam while the door in going down, the door automatically reverses before making contact. If the beam is obstructed, the door will not close at all. The PosiLock system securely locks your garage door as soon as it goes down. An intruder cannot gain access. Also, a manual release handle releases the door from the operator for manual operation in the case of a power failure.
