Truck Shelters
Rigid Frame Truck Shelters
Truck shelters are the most versatile solution because they will accommodate the widest range of vehicles. They allow unobstructed access to the height and width of both the trailer and door openings. As the name implies, these units create a shelter from inclement weather.
Series TS100
- Heavy-duty wolmanized wood frame with translucent fiberglass top and sides allows natural light into the dock area.
- Raked header prevents water from standing on top.
- 40-oz. vinyl-coated polyester fabric face curtains have foam bead on inside edge which conforms to trailer for better seal.
- Wear caps (40-oz. vinyl plus heavy clear PVC) with guide stripe on bottom corners of face curtains absorbs impact of lower trailer corners.
- Polished alumimum angle trim secures face and header curtains to shelter frame; vinyl-covered spring steel stays sewn into the shelter's curtains, maintain pressure against side and top of trailer.
- Wind cord prevents head curtain from blowing out of position. Three overlapping 40-oz. vinyl wear pleats in corners absorb impact of sharp trailer edges.
- Foam-filled draft pads inside lower corners prevent air from entering; "NO STEP" safety logo permanently affixed.
- Heavy-duty 6" steel bumper guards support frame and provide protection from incoming vehicles.
Series TS200
- Same features as Series TS100 except translucent 32-oz, white vinyl sides.
Rigid Shelter Options
- Tapered verticals to accommodate sloped driveways.
- Flat header for low clearance situations.
- Common-member unit for door openings too close together to accommodate two indvidual shelters.
- False header.
Soft-Sided Truck Shelters
The foam-framed tuck shelter was designed to create a shelter that is 1) easier to repair and 2) less likely to be damaged by mis-spotted trucks. The wood frames of the rigid shelter have been replaced by foam bolsters and the steel bumper guards (mandatory for rigid shelters) have been eliminated altogether.
Series TS400
- Foam bolsters are mounted on heavy-duty wolmanized wood back boards. Board width and foam width increase as shelter increases in depth.
- Curtain style header with an adjustable head curtain with velcro-splits accommodates different height trailers. Plastic-tipped spring steel stays maintain the curtain's shape and function.
- Wear caps of 40-oz vinyl with guide stipe on bottom of side members absorb impact of lower tailer doors.
- Four overlapping wear pleats in top corners of header, absorb impact of sharp tailer edges.
- Foam-filled draft pads with "No Step" safety logo prevent air from entering bottom of shelter.
- No bumper guards required. If truck mis-spots, the foam sides give way to the truck.
Soft Shelter Options
- Tapered verticals to accommodate sloped driveways.
- Raked header.
- Available in all standard fabrics.
